Which voice roles are publicly confirmed?
Chen Hao is publicly identified as both voice director and the voice of Han Zhongli. Reports on the production identify Dong Tianyi, Huang Yushuo and Yu Pengli as the three boys who collectively completed Han Xiangzi's performance. Chengdu premiere coverage also links the young performer Cao Zhishan with Lan Caihe.
Other publicly listed performers include Li Shaozhe, Lidong, Guozi Gege, Zhang Yunqi and Deng Xiansen. This site does not assign every remaining name to a character by list order, because a billing list is not the same thing as a role-by-role credit table. The film's end credits remain the strongest complete source.
Why did three boys voice Han Xiangzi?
The production wanted an authentic adolescent sound instead of asking an adult to imitate a child. Animation recording continued long enough for the originally selected young voice to change naturally, so the team returned to schools to find performers who could preserve the character's age and emotional continuity.
The result should not be understood as three versions playing at once. It is a production solution: performances recorded at different stages were shaped into one character.
What was the performance direction?
Chen Hao described the principle as voice acting being acting, not the manufacture of a distant 'immortal voice'. The ensemble uses ordinary emotion, interruptions, accents and improvised timing to make the future legends feel like people living together before they become icons.
That approach is especially important in a film with eight busy characters. Viewers can listen for who interrupts, who hesitates and how a comic rhythm changes when the group has to accept responsibility.
Is there an official English dub?
The verified international cinema listings reviewed here advertise the Mandarin soundtrack with English subtitles. Labels such as 'Mandarin w EST' or 'Mandarin, Eng Sub' do not mean English dubbing. No English-dub cast announcement has been used as evidence for this page.
Check the language field on the exact showtime before purchase. A general international release article cannot guarantee the soundtrack used by every cinema or later digital platform.
