Confirmed release timeline
The current mainland China date is July 18, 2026, after the film moved forward from its earlier July 24 plan. Xinhua's first overseas schedule listed Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea from August 13, followed by the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Netherlands from August 14.
Cinema pages now support parts of that schedule. HOYTS and Event Cinemas list the Australian release, Fandango carries a US film page, and Landmark Cinemas identifies a Canadian Mandarin-with-English-subtitles version. UK listings use local rating and subtitle fields; availability still varies by cinema.

Fandango lists the film for August 14 in the United States with a 2-hour-23-minute runtime. Landmark Cinemas in Canada lists 'Mandarin w EST', meaning Mandarin audio with English subtitles, and 143 minutes. These pages establish a market entry and a version label; they do not promise that every branch will carry the film.
Search by city and date on a cinema or recognised ticketing service. A result is truly bookable only when it reaches a specific theatre, start time and seat or checkout flow.
What about the UK, Australia and Hong Kong?
Australia opened on August 13 with major chains listing Mandarin audio, English subtitles, 143 minutes and a PG classification. UK listings around the August 14 window use Mandarin with English and Chinese subtitles in some chains, with 12A guidance. Read the exact showtime label because language and caption formats can differ.
As of this page's August 16 evidence check, we have not found a sufficiently clear official Hong Kong cinema date to present as confirmed. Hong Kong is therefore marked unverified rather than silently omitted or guessed from nearby markets.
